FC Soldier, Police Officer Martyred in Separate Attacks in Waziristan and Orakzai”

A Frontier Corps soldier and a police sub-inspector were martyred in separate terrorist attacks in South Waziristan and Orakzai. Lance Naik Iqbal Khan was killed in an ambush in Ladha, South Waziristan, while on duty. In a separate incident, Sub-Inspector Inayatullah died in an exchange of fire after militants attacked a police check-post in Ghiljo, Orakzai. Security forces responded swiftly in both cases, but the attackers managed to flee. Search operations have been launched to track down the perpetrators.
