Bara Political Alliance Rejects Military Operation in Tirah Valley

A jirga convened by the Bara Siyasi Ittehad has firmly opposed any forthcoming military operation in the Tirah Valley, rejecting the displacement of residents and the formation of tribal lashkars or government-backed peace committees  . The gathering stressed that restoring peace is the state’s responsibility, noting that locals have endured decades of conflict and reconstructing their homes since their return in 2015  . They demanded targeted action against militants without disrupting civilian life, and vowed protests if their concerns were ignored.
