Chinese PhD Student Jailed for Life in UK for Serial Rape Spanning Two Countries

Zhenhao Zou, a Chinese PhD student described by UK police as one of the most prolific sexual predators in the country, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 24 years. Between 2019 and 2023, Zou drugged and raped 10 women—three in London and seven in China. Only three victims have been identified so far, but authorities believe many more may exist, with 24 additional women coming forward post-trial. The judge called him a manipulative and dangerous predator.
