Kabirwala – Authorities have launched an investigation after a cleric at a local madrasa in Kabirwala was accused of inappropriate behavior involving multiple students. The matter came to light when a concerned family filed a report with the police, following a medical development involving one of the students.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), at least ten girls may have been affected during their time at the institution. The cleric reportedly left the madrasa before the complaint reached law enforcement, prompting a search operation by police.
Community members and child protection advocates have expressed deep concern, calling for stricter oversight of educational and religious institutions. Local authorities are urging parents to stay engaged in their children’s education and wellbeing, both at home and at school.
The case has sparked renewed calls for transparency, institutional reform, and stronger safeguarding measures in places of learning.
